If you send it twice,
what must stay the same?

First explanation

A request is idempotent when sending the same request multiple times has the same intended effect on the server as sending it once. In HTTP, PUT and DELETE are idempotent methods.

What the explanation leaves unclear

“The same effect” does not explain whether the response codes must also match.

Check for yourself: do two log entries mean the request is not idempotent?

An additional log entry is not enough to decide. Idempotency concerns the intended effect of the request; logging each request can be a separate effect. Explain the distinction using the deleted resource above.

Practice still matters when your goal requires it. Preparation time and learning speed depend on scope. Running the kit uses your AI tool’s account and usage allowance; this demo does not run AI.
